History - where else have you got so much history crammed into one city? From the Romans to present day, every part of London is bursting with history! Check out London Walks for am amazing selection of walks 363 days a year all over London. Combine exercise with learning!

Culture - from theatre to world-famous art galleries, London has it all. The West End and Shaftesbury Avenue are the centre of our theatre land but we have theatres dotted all over London so keep an eye out for them. Music - classical or contemporary? We have the Royal Opera House and the Coliseum both in Covent Garden, the Royal Albert Hall, the O2 arena, the list goes on… Art galleries: The National Gallery, The National Portrait Gallery, The Royal Academy, the V&A - something for everyone.

Parks - London is blessed with many green parks right in the centre of town. Apart from local community gardens, we have the Royal Parks, e.g. Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, Green Park…. In Richmond, there is Richmond Park (Henry VIII’s old hunting ground - look out for all the deer!) and of course Hampstead Heath, complete with the Ladies and Gentleman’s outdoor bathing ponds. Perfect for cold water bathing!

Travel - being situated between Europe, Asia and the Americas, London and the UK are perfectly located to take advantage of international travel. By flight, within 2-3 hours of London, you can be in almost any part of Europe. And being an international hub, you’ll find that flights out of Heathrow or Gatwick are very competitively priced. Or take the Eurostar to Paris! to home, take your time to explore the rest of the United Kingdom: north, east, south, west there are lots of wonderful cities and countryside to discover too.

Food - despite our reputation of old, the food scene in London today is amazing! We restaurants, cafes, bars and street food offering cuisines from all over the world to suit every pocket.
